Tribute
It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Cavacece announces his passing after a short battle with cancer, on Tuesday, January 23rd at the age of 59 years. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Tammy and his children, Alexis (Mitch), Anthony (Hannah), and Adam (Brittney). Peter will also be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren, by his mother Bruna Cavacece and his sisters and brothers. Peter was predeceased by his father Anthony Cavacece.
Peter made meaningful and lasting impacts in the lives of all those he met and knew. He was an honest, kind and gentle man with a big heart! His big smile, contagious laugh and sense of humor will not be forgotten. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors camping and as an avid fisherman who loved the quiet time on the river. He was a jack of all trades and his passion in life was woodworking.
A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. ,Thursday, February 1st at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford, with a celebration of life to follow at the Parish Hall. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Peter’s life. Memorial donations in memory of Peter can be made to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
