Peter Wayland Tudhope

Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Peter, who sank his last putt on March 10, 2022 after a brief illness. He leaves to mourn son, David (Stephanie), son, Neil (Sylvia), and daughter, Lesley (Brian), and his grandchildren, Jaedon, Justine, Nadia, Megan, Nicholas, Kyle, and Rachel. He is predeceased by his wife Marjorie, sister-in-law, Thora Spragg, brother-in-law, Hal Spragg, and brother-in-law, Neil Reid. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Ian Mitchell, sister-in-law, Elinor Mitchell, and sister-in-law, Carol Reid, and numerous nieces and nephews. Peter’s passions were golf, cars, animals, and his lengthy career in the automobile industry. Remarkably, up until last summer, he walked the golf courses he played, and it was his age, not his ability, that led to his decision to retire at age 90. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 25th at 2:00 PM in the Ebony Room at Meadow Gardens Golf Course, 19675 Meadow Gardens Way, Pitt Meadows. If desired, donations can be made to Special Olympics BC or Langley Hospice Society.

Our condolences to the Tudhope family on the loss of your father and grandfather. I first met Peter at Westwood Honda in the 90’s. His honesty and integrity (plus the bottle of South African wine!) made us return again and again over the years!
