Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and opa. Philipp was born in Germany and came to Canada in 1951. He leaves to mourn his wife of 63 years, Maria; daughters Sylvia (Norbert) and Denise; grandsons Cass, Michael and Robert; other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his younger sister Hilda and his grandson Chris. Philipp was a loving and dedicated family man and his presence will be forever missed. He requested there be no service. Uncle Phillipp was the hardest working man I ever knew. He was generous and had a great sense of humour, and will be forever missed. Rest in Peace Uncle Phillipp.

Oh Dear Maria, I have just read of Phillip’s passing. There are no words to say that I understand how you feel, I know this is a huge loss for you.
Who will you banter back and forth with. I am so grateful for the lamb and red cabbage lunches we had together and the wine we drank. For the political discussion we had. Such fun for me and hopefully for both of you as well. I am so sorry for your loss Marie. I pray that you are surrounded by your family and that you are loving and caring for each other now and always.
God Bless.

Tante Lenchen,Denise,Sylvie:
Know that your husband, dad, and my Onkel Philipp will be forever missed, but not forgotten. The memories of the many summers I spent living at the old farm as a little kid will always be fresh in my mind. Learning hard work ethics from Onkel Philipp helped me in part be who I am today. His sense of humor and clowning around always made the work seem like fun and make the triple yoke eggs taste so much better in the morning. During our last phone conversation we had a good laugh about my first time driving the old tractor along with a few of the pranks he pulled on me. You will be missed, rest in peace Onkel Philipp you are now pain free. Love Freddy
