Tribute

It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Randi – our beloved father, husband, brother, uncle and friend.  Randi’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.  His brilliant business mind and strong work ethic made Riteway Tree Service which he started in the 90’s into the remarkable success it is today.  His dedication and hard work endeared him to colleagues and friends alike.  However, his greatest job was being a dad.    Randi’s love for his sons; loud old cars; hockey; 80’s music and spending quality time with his family defined his vibrant spirit and zest for life.  Everyone who had the opportunity to know Randi will share the same message – he did everything with brilliance, humour, inspiration and passion – all with a zest that cannot be measured.

Randi will be deeply missed by his sons Austin and Dawson; their mother Andrea; brother Russell (Emily); and sister Heather;  nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a wide circle of friends.  He was predeceased by his mother Doris; father Jim; and his dearly loved grandmother Willa,  as well as his beloved dog Rosie.

A celebration of his life will be held Friday, April 26 at 2 pm at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 6543-132 Street, Surrey.

In lieu of flowers donations to Canuck Place in Randi’s memory would be appreciated.

Randi’s legacy of love, strength and kindness will forever live in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him.
