Raymond Boury

Tribute
Born in Frank, Alberta and moved with his family to Vancouver and then to Abbotsford (Mt. Lehman area) when he was 12 years old. He was one of the local pioneers of Abbotsford. He served the community as a Volunteer Firefighter, School Bus Driver #4, and Life Member of the Abbotsford Curling Club. He started with Dr. Moran in the 1950's in an office on Essendene St. and in the 1970's opened Boury Dental Lab. He retired in 1985. Ray loved fishing, camping, curling, gardening, teasing his grandchildren (the Monkey's) and spending time with family and friends. “A loaf of bread, a pound of meat…all the mustard you can eat….HOTDOGS” was one of his favourite sayings. He had a great sense of humor. Ray is pre deceased by his father Paul, mother Augustine, sister Irene Thompson, her husband Fred and his daughter Carol Jansen in 2004.
