Tribute
Sadly and unexpectedly, Ron left us on December 14, 2010. His young life and dreams were cut short as he struggled through difficult times. Even though he took his own life we know he is at peace now.
Ron was born in Matsqui BC (now Abbotsford) where he played his first sports and attended elementary school. Ron’s teenage years were spent in Kamloops BC where he completed high school. Ron continued in sports where he excelled in hockey, golf, snowboarding, BMX and dirt bike riding. After high school Ron returned to Abbotsford to work in the construction industry. Ron decided to seek some adventure in his life and traveled to Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. During his travels he learned to surf, scuba dive, bungee jump, canyoning and acquired a taste for spicy Thai food.
Ron will always be remembered as a fun and considerate member of our family. His smile was warm and contagious. He had a fondness for dogs and as a teenager hung out with the family dog Herc. His favourite animal that he loved most was the wolf.
A star in the sky was named for Ron. When we gaze into the night sky “Ronnie” will be the one star in the Cetus constellation that shines so bright in our eyes.
You will be missed by so many. Love always, your family and friends.

My dear Ron. I still can’t believe what happened. There are some days where I go online and I expect to see you popping up, telling me the last jokes you played on your cousin. Sometimes, I’m even tempted to text your number or to email you, thinking I gonna get an answer back, all of this was just a nightmare. But you’re not here and I miss you terribly. I wish we had more time to spend together. You are precious: loving, kind and always smiling. I miss our little chats over the computer, I miss having you over for movies…there is nobody anymore to eat the chocolates I carefully hid. I wish I could have done more for you. Wherever you are I hope and pray for you to be happy, peaceful and I hope now you can see and feel how loved you are by your friends and families. I miss you so much Ron and I hope you now can see how exceptional you are.
