Rudolph Peter Sawatzky

Tribute
Rudy passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord at the age of 92. He was born in Hanley, Saskatchewan to Peter and Anna Sawatzky. he had 3 siblings; Gilda, Erna and John and an infant daughter whom he met again at the feet of Jesus on that glorious day.
In all of his years his faith in God and humanity never waivered.
He is survived by his loving wife Joyce of almost 69 years and his 4 children: Elaine (Al), Stuart (Sonja), Dianne (Ric) and Daryl (Laura). He loved each of his 7 grandchildren, adored his 14 great grand children and all of the family members that joined him throughout the years. Nieces, nephews and cousins were never left out of his thoughts and prayers.
In 1978 he moved to Abbotsford with his family from Saskatchewan and started a long career as a car salesman. Many deals were made with an honest handshake! Church, family and friends were most important to him. he cared for each and every person that came into his life and his willingness to accept change in the world is now and will always be admired by his family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, June 3 at 1 p.m. at Grace Church, 2087 McMillan Road, Abbotsford.
