Tribute
With deep sadness we announce our beloved father, grandfather, and brother Russell Hubensky’s peaceful passing into the presence of his Lord on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the age of 97.
Predeceased by his dear wife Mary, parents Michael and Mary Hubensky , and seven siblings.
Russell is lovingly remembered and will be deeply missed by his children Barbara (Greg), James and David (Robert) and grandchildren Lisa (Todd), Jesse and Tess. His sisters, Eleanor Powell and Marie Davidson, along with close extended family and friends. Although gone he will reside in the hearts and minds of his beloved family through to eternity.
Russell was very devoted to his wife Mary and often spoke of how much he missed her. Russell was someone who family, friends and strangers could always count on to lend a helping hand at any time. His warm smile and very powerful handshake will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to meet him.
Our family would like to thank the staff of Laurel Place Hospice for their compassionate care. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Menno Place Chapel, 32945 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, B.C.

Our family have known Russell for over 40 years and we have many fond memories of him and his wife Mary when we attended Cedar Hills Church. Russell was a dear friend and was always willing to help when needed, he was a kind gentleman and we could see his kind characteristics thru his willing smile. We will miss him too.
