Sheila Fazakas (Wiebe)

Tribute
On Christmas Day the Fazakas family lost their beloved mother and cheerleader, Sheila Ann Wiebe Fazakas, 68, at Langley Hospice after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. Sheila considered it her role to encourage and lift the spirits of those around her, and did so to the end with courage and optimism. Sheila will be deeply missed by friends and family. She is predeceased by her: husband, Ernest Fazakas; mother, Dorothy Wiebe (nee Tracey); father, Jacob Wiebe; brother, Laverne Gallinger. Survived by: sister, Laneah Wiebe; son, Phillip; daughters, Rita and LaTiesha; and her precious grandchildren, Jocelyn and Matthew Mossey. A memorial service will be held Jan. 9, 2 pm, Ross Road Community Church, 3160 Ross Road, Abbotsford.

Dear Sheila’s family: I’m so sorry for your loss. I was with your mom in the morning before she went to Langley and she asked me to come visit her in Hospice. I said I would try. I regret that over Christmas I just didn’t have time but can tell you that each time I came home I thought “I wish I could have gone to visit Sheila”. She was a very strong individual and a kind spirit. She is missed. Blessings on her journey to a safer pain/itch free place. Sincerely
