From: Henry Fetigan
Relation: Long time bank manager and friend

It was a pleasure to have known Syd and Joan in my capacity as the branch manager of Bank of BC in Chinatown in the 70’s and 80’s. Their frequent visits to my office were always a joy. Over the years and since my retirement in 2000, I lost contact with your parents. Just want you to know how much I appreciated them as friends. God bless to all the family and my sincere condolences on your loss.

From: Loretta Houben
Relation: My great uncle

To Uncle Syd’s daughters: Cheryle, Jacqueline, and Michelle; I am sorry your father is gone but he had a happy and wonderful life, and I’m sure you will remember him often. Thinking of you all at this time.

From: Linda Town

To Jacquie, Michelle and Cheryle….my thoughts are with you at this time. I will miss Uncle Syd…especially his jokes and his joy of life. I’m so glad I was able to visit with him on his last birthday and I have lovely pictures to remember him by.

Cherrie, Jacqui and Mich: So sorry to hear Uncle Syd has passed. For some reason I missed your mom,s passing. It has been over fifty years but I have many many wonderful memories of your whole family and the times we spent together as kids. I do remember Uncle Syd lived with us before he brought the rest of the family over. I also remember the wonderful sense of humour your parents had. I could go on and on as they were such great people .Should you like to get together to reminese my telephone number is 604-464-4569 and I live in Coquitlam. Having lost both parents I know how sad a time this is for all of you. We send our LOVE. Karen & Chris Marcellus
