Theodore (Ted) Leo Fiola
July 15, 1935 - February 18, 2025
Tribute
Theodore “Ted” Fiola passed away very peacefully mid-afternoon on February 18, 2025 in the Abbotsford Hospital surrounded by members of his loving family.
He was one of 14 children born to Elzear Fiola and Victorine Kirouac. All of his siblings (8 brothers, 5 sisters) predeceased him. He was also predeceased by a son, Roger Fiola and a grandson, Zachary Fiola. He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Lorenza “Laurie” (nee Berthelette), three daughters, Linda Long (Kieran), Cecile Baines (Brian), Diane Hoffert, and one son Donald Fiola, seven grandchildren, Connie, Brandon, Jesse, Kirsten, Travis, Felicia and Blake and three great-grandchildren, Jaxton, Raine and Theo.
Ted was loved by all and is fondly remembered as a hard-working, caring and compassionate person. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
At Ted’s request, a Celebration of Life will not be held, however, a small intimate family gathering will be held on March 30th. Family members wishing to attend can contact Laurie, Linda or Cecile.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada in Ted’s memory would be greatly appreciated.
