William (Kelly) Kelly Carver

April 19, 1957 - September 19, 2019

Tribute

Carver, William “Kelly” passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Sept 19, 2019.
Since February he bravely fought a battle with cancer – never despairing, and always confident he was in God’s hands.
He was married to Cynthia on February 21, 1987 and enjoyed 32 years of marriage.
Kelly loved his family – raising his 6 children, and also happy to have his parents next door for their later years.
Kelly was a Heavy Duty Diesel Engineer Machinist and Mechanic by trade, as well as a Master Emergency Vehicle Technician.
Taking things apart and putting things together he did with amazing skill – troubleshooting and repair was his expertise.
He was employed by the City of Abbotsford – spending 25 years – mostly maintaining fire dept vehicles.
Prior to that he worked approx. 13 years on locomotives at CN Rail. He retired in 2017 at the age of 60 to work with his sons.
Kelly was predeceased by his father George.  He is survived by his dear mother Hazel (102!), wife Cynthia, children Benjamin, Daniel, Sarah, Elizabeth, Maria, and Matthew. Also sister Betty, brothers John, Roy, and Rob, and many nieces, nephews, 1 Auntie and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at Clearbrook MB Church in Abbots. on Fri. Oct 4th at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers – donations would be greatly appreciated to Joy Fellowship, c/o 3036 E. Georgia Street, Van, BC V5K 2K7
