William (Bob) Robert McKenzie

Tribute
William (Bob) Robert McKenzie of Abbotsford, at the age of 77, passed away peacefully on December 10 at Chilliwack General Hospital. Bob was born on January 22, 1939 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Bob had three sisters Dorothy (Dot), Jean and Joyce . Bob spent 22 1/2 years in the Canadian service as an electrician. After retiring from the service Bob later became supervisor of the MSA Hospital in Abbotsford.
Bob is survived by his two sons Graham McKenzie and Scott McKenzie and daughter Kari Vermeer. Bob is also survived by three daughters-in-law; Kathy McKenzie, Coreen Jackson and Shelley McKenzie; son-in-law Bryan Vermeer and seven grandchildren; Adyson, Cole, Sarah, Skye, Cade, Genevieve and Cameron. The celebration of life will be held at the Pentecostal Assembly Church, at Gladwin Road, Abbotsford on Thursday, December 21 at 11 AM. Graveside to follow.

Bob was such a wonderful guy. He always presented himself with and smile and always seemed to be in a hurry to get the job done. I saw Bob a few years back mentioning the loss of his dear wife. When he retired he had big plans of traveling. I think he wanted to see the world by camper. I hope he had a chance to fulfill some of his dreams. Bob, I will think of you always with a beautiful smile and the enthusiasm in your voice. Rest in Peace my friend.
