Born June 2, 1933 in Switzerland passed away April 5, 2012 at Christine Morrison Hospice. She has resided in Abbotsford since 1963 and had many friends and was involved in many clubs. Margrit loved to square dance and was a beautiful woman who inspired everyone who met her. She will be missed by her family and friends; sister Marla; sister-in-law Louise; granddaughter Christine; daughter Sue and many other family members and friends. Margrit requested that no service be held and her wishes will be honored.

I was so sorry to read about Margrit’s passing. I am the Phone Chairman for our local CDA and she was a volunteer “phoner” for me, and I did appreciate her willingness to continue with her phone list in spite of her illness. One day last fall I asked her if she would like me to find someone else to do her list and she quickly agreed it would be best. I have to admit I miss our little chats when I called her with the meeting information. She fought a good fight but is finally free of her pain. Please accept my sympathy.
