Mary Petriew (Balzer)

Tribute
Finally home with her Lord and Saviour on December 3, 2019, Mary is predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Sarah Balzer of Eyebrow, Sask., her brothers Walter (Marion) and Jacob (Esther) and sister Verna (Peter) Derksen. She will be missed by her step-children, Beverly (Andrew) Geldart, David (Inda) Petriew, and Valerie (Andrew) Searby and five grandchildren, Zac, Janie, Jori, Lukas, and Aleks; her brothers John (Isabelle) and Dan (Kay), sisters Dora (John – dec.) Friesen and Margaret Balzer and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
An intimate family interment will take place Friday, December 6 in Abbotsford, BC. Arrangements are entrusted to Wiebe & Jeske Funeral Home (604-857-0711).
The family will gather later in January to celebrate her life and share memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Menno Hospital where she lived and was lovingly cared for in her final years.
