Gerald Lorne Scheltgen

April 6, 1937 - February 27, 2023

Tribute

It is with both sadness and joy that we announce the passing of our father Gerry.
He passed away peacefully on February 27, 2023 at the age of 85 in Abbotsford BC.
He was the only child of Pete and Mary Scheltgen, born In Saskatchewan on April 6, 1937, and raised in White Rock BC.
He fought a long battle with cancer and his family was by his side.  Throughout his illness he continued to live his life the way he always did, independently, strong and stubborn, with rarely a complaint.
Dad is survived by his children, Peter, Patrick and Quincy (Ed), along with their mother Sandra.  He also leaves 8 grandchildren, Jordan, Dustin, Jacob, Matthew, Miranda, Ruby, Riley and Madeline.
There will be no funeral at dad’s request – please raise a glass and give him a farewell toast!
We are happy that you are at peace dad, we will miss you!
