Tribute
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lynne after a long and courageous battle with lung disease. She passed peacefully with loving family at her side. She is survived by her loving partner and soulmate Don; her son Clayton (Bonnie) of Red Deer; sister Christine of Penticton; grandson Justin (Amanda); granddaughter Candace (Del); numerous great grandchildren and her lifelong best friend June Pelland of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by two brothers, one sister and her grandson Jason. Lynne was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. She loved country music, dancing, kids and crib. Lynne was a sweet and caring lady and will be missed by all who knew her. Respecting her wishes, there will be no service, but a celebration of her life and gathering of friends at the FOE Hall Thursday, February 12 between 2 pm and 5 p.m. There will be a private family burial of her ashes in the summer.

Lynne has been an amazing part of my life for 31 years. We shared the same name and she was a wonderful grandma to my boys. Our relationship stayed strong throughout the years and circumstances. I will miss having her in my life, but I am reassured knowing that Jason met his grandma at heaven’s gate with a huge bear hug and told her he was happy to see her. Rest in peace Lynne.
