Tribute
Born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Carol passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband Larry John Sullivan (married May 27,1989); Aunt Joyce; sister Patricia (Jim); 6 children: Dallas(Angela), Deanna, Kathy (Lorne), Kevin(Gina), Duane (Christine) and Kenna; 3 stepchildren: Barry, Lisa, and Bobbi and their spouses; 23 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Carol was predeceased by her father Harry, mother Ivy, brother Ron, and most recently her sister Marilyn.
Carol was a stay at home Mom during her children’s school years and was active in their many activities including Brownies, Girl Guides, and Lacrosse to mention a few. Once her children had “grown”, Carol started working at Auto Haulaway for over 30 years, she retired in 2011. She enjoyed her job. Carol will be deeply missed, a Celebration of Life will be held May 5 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Northview Golf & Country Club, 6857-168 Street, Surrey. It will be a Joint Celebration for Carol and her sister Marilyn Nola Mattson who passed away within weeks of each other. Special thanks to the Doctors/Nurses at Surrey Memorial Hospital for their care of our Mother. Donations can be made to Heart/Lung Foundation in Carol’s memory.
