Tribute
It is with sadness that we announce that Dave passed away peacefully in his 53rd year on Wednesday after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his family and friends at the Salvation Army Hospice in Richmond BC.
Dave will be remembered by his wife Diana De Ré (Dumond) and his daughters Dominique and Danielle.
He was the chosen son of Gelindo (“Gee”) De Ré (predeceased in 2001) and Rina De Ré (Vaccher) of Trillium Ridge, Kingston ON.
Dave is survived by his brother Ron De Ré of Oshawa ON, his sister Nancy Davis (Stan) of Guelph ON, several nieces and nephews in BC and Ontario and many other family members in Canada and the USA.
Dave found a love in anything he got involved with. He was a team player and played on many teams.
A Celebration of Life for Dave will take place on Saturday, June 16th at 10:30 AM at Fraserview Mennonite Brethren Church, 11295 Mellis Drive, Richmond BC.
In lieu of flowers, please contribute to a savings account that has been set up for the continuing education of Dominique and Danielle, Please make cheques or money orders payable to “Dominique and/or Danielle De Ré”. On the Memo or Re line please feel free to write “Educational Fund”. Thank You!
