Tribute
Born in Strasbourg, SK passed away in Abbotsford after a two year battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving partner Lorna Edgecombe; two sisters, Marlene and Donna; two sons, Layne (Kari) and Lance; one daughter Jennifer (Reid); one step-daughter Vicky (Michael); grandchildren Jessyka, Aymee, Damon, Kai and Luke; and other family members and friends. Don was predeceased by his parents Hank and Jennie Schwandt of Strasbourg, SK and one brother Clinton of Langley. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society are appreciated.

Condolences to Don’s family. Our families were good friends, my mother grew up in Strasbourg and I spent a lot of time visiting my grandparents as well as he stayed with my parents in Moose Jaw. Clint and Donny were big brothers to us kids when growing up. Rest In Peace Donny
