Gustaf (Fred) Yurkin

February 25, 1929 - October 31, 2016

Tribute

Fred passed away peacefully at Brookside Lodge in Surrey.  He leaves behind his devoted wife of 53 years, Moe, and will be lovingly missed by son Greg, daughter Tracey, step-daughter Lynn, granddaughter Brittany, grandson Trevor, sister Helma, and brother Frank (Dagne).  Special thanks to all the staff at Brookside Lodge for taking such good care of Fred over the past 7 years.  A memorial gathering will be held on November 16th in the clubhouse at West Villa Estates, 8560 156 Street, Surrey from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

My condolences to you Moe and family,Fred was a man that always was a fine example of how to treat the job at hand.I have some fond memories of him on the TracyLyn with the colt cigar butts all over the floor boards.
