Hedwig Rempel (Regehr)

February 29, 1960 - December 25, 2021

Hedwig was born in Friesland, Paraguay.  She was affectionately known to most as “Hedy”.  She was the third of 6 children born to Jacob and Anna Regehr.  Jacob and Anna modelled a strong faith in Jesus and Hedy accepted Him as her saviour and was baptized at a young age.  In 1976 she emigrated to Canada with her parents and younger siblings.  They settled in Vancouver, BC.  In 1982 she married John Rempel and they moved to Abbotsford.  They have two devoted sons, Kevin and Dennis, a lovely daughter-in-law named Manelda, and two handsome grandsons named Seth and Malakai.  Hedy was a tender and loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, mother and had many very dear friends. All will carry the sweet memories of such a loving lady, until we meet again.
