Irmgard Schippmann (Hentschel)

February 26, 1943 - July 28, 2015

Tribute

With great sadness we announce the passing of Irmgard Schippmann after her courageous battle with cancer.  She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Kurt; her daughters Britta (Gordon) and Gudrun (Melody); and two grandchildren Isabella and Tatiana.  She will be missed by her brothers Manfred and Harald; her nephew, nieces and many relatives and friends in Germany.  We are so grateful for her compassionate care at the Tertiary Palliative Ward at ARHCC.  A private family graveside burial was held on Friday July 31, 2015 at Hazelwood Cemetery followed by a celebration of her life.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Tertiary Palliative Ward at ARHCC.

We love you and miss you more than words can say.
