Tribute
Jacob Kornelsen was born December 27, 1932 in Manitoba. He married Doris Loewen in 1953. They settled in Kola, Manitoba in 1961 where Jake worked as an electrician. In 1970 he moved his family and business to Abbotsford, BC. He was a man of integrity and perseverance.
On the morning of October 28, 2022 Jake passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He is survived by his devoted wife Doris; 5 children – Darrell (Betty), Faythe (Sheldon), Ivan (Julie), Garry (Shelly) and Bruce (Sandi); 11 grandchildren – Joel, Josie, Jessica, Michael, Alaina, Lacey, Holly, Joey, Lara, James and Matthew; and 23 great grandchildren. Jake is also survived by 3 of 10 siblings (John, Elda and Lorne).
