Tribute

Kenneth William Bergen (Ken) passed away December 29th 2019 at age 67 in Cascade Hospice Residence, Chilliwack after a one-year battle with cancer.

Ken was born in Vancouver May 6 1952 to parents William and Erika Bergen.  He is fondly remembered by his siblings Wes (Hilda), Randy (Roxanne), Sandra Mitchell (John), Jennifer Miller (Glen), as well as 13 nieces and nephews and their spouses, and also 4 great-nieces and nephews.

Most of his childhood years were spent growing up in Yarrow, attending Yarrow Elementary School and Sardis Secondary School.  Ken moved to Chilliwack and worked for many years as grounds keeper at Chilliwack Golf and Country Club.

Ken enjoyed spending his free time riding motorcycle, hunting, black powder shooting, and camping.

Ken was predeceased by his parents William and Erika Bergen.

A celebration of Ken’s life is planned for May 23 2020.  Place and time to be determined.
