Martha Bettie Siemens (Quiring)
January 20, 1933 - March 27, 2018
Tribute
Martha passed away Tuesday March 27th at the Christine Morrison hospice in Mission.
Martha was born in Abbotsford BC to David and Justina Quiring, and was the youngest of 6 children. In 1953 she married Herman Siemens of Main Centre Sask. They lived in Main Centre for one year before moving to Vancouver, and eventually to Abbotsford where they farmed until recently.
Martha was a longtime member of South Abbotsford Church, where she served in many different ministries.
Martha was predeceased by her husband Herman on Feb 23rd, 2018, and is survived by her son Murray (Cheryl), daughter Shelley (Mike), grandchildren; Matt (Casey), Nate (Christy), Chris, Kelsey, Jordyn (Bobby) and great grandchildren Avery and Kaydence.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 6th at 2:00pm at South Abbotsford Church 32424 Huntington Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Christine Morrison Hospice at http://www.missionhospice.bc.ca/donate/

Relation: Aunt Martha was a first cousin to my dad. Their son Murray(second cousin to Katie) became part of our extended family when he went to university here in Winnipeg.
Our heartfelt condolences to the Siemens family. Uncle Herman and Aunt Martha have always had a special place in our hearts. We have always had a warm welcome when we were able to visit.
