I am so very sorry to learn of Maureen’s passing.. she was a wonderful lady to me, and she loved her daisy-yellow car so much.. always wanting to go for a drive in it, just because! Rest in Peace, Maureen!

Relation: God daughter/ daughter of her cousin Pamela Owen (nee Coote)

Rest in Peace my beautiful Auntie Mo. We will miss your great laugh and wonderful stories.

From: Joanne Carr
Relation: Maureen was my ex father-in-law's wife.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to friends and family of Maureen. She was a lovely lady who was very devoted to her past husband, John Carr, who was my daughter, Adrienne’s, grandfather. We last saw Maureen in Abbotsford for John’s funeral many years ago now. I’m sure she is glad to join him again after all these years. May she rest in peace.

I first met Maureen in 1991 we worked together and remained friends over the years.
She was a lovely lady and is now reunited with John. May they both rest in peace together forever.

I will miss my old friend and former flat mate, Maureen. I met your uncle, aunt and cousin Pam all at the same time, and they were lovely company too. Maureen and I lived in different countries at various times, but we always found one another, and for her last several years we spoke every weekend. Goodbye my friend of almost 60 years.

From: Susan Carr
Relation: Step Daughter-in-law

Dear Maureen
You & Dad welcomed me all those years ago when I married Andrew (John’s son) and we remained friends ever since. We had lots of good meals, good laughs and solved many world problems over those dinners and lunches. Thank you for being Granny Mo to our 3 children (Chelsea, Luke & Katie). I know its been tough since Dad passed and our wish is that you are both together along with your beloved dog Velvet. Be at peace and give Dad a big hug from us all. Love always Susan
