Peter Hildebrand

Tribute
On October 28th, 2014 at 11:30 AM, the Hildebrand family said auf Wiedersehen to an extraordinary man. Peter Hildebrand, born in Berlin, Germany, 1938, was husband to Hildegard, father to Jennifer and Mike, brother to Fred (Lisa), Opa to Courtney and Alanna Burkholder (and Selby), favourite uncle to Peter John (Twyla, Naomi and Karsten) and Monika (Mark Kinskofer), as well as those who called him uncle, whether they were related or not. As owner/operator of the former Alpine Automatic Transmission Ltd. on Victoria Drive, he specialized in building transmissions and friendships. We rejoice in knowing that he has finished his race and is with his creator in heaven, likely having ‘happy hour’ with loved ones who have parted before him. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 7th, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Sherbrooke Mennonite Church, 7155 Sherbrooke Street, Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Squeah. (www.squeah.com).
