Tribute

Robert A. Delgatty, passed to his eternal home, on May 7, 2023, at his home in Chilliwack, in his 98th
year. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn E. Delgatty in 2001, his parents Robert and Margaret
Anne Delgatty, and his 7 siblings. Robert is survived by his wife Cindy Delgatty, his 2 daughters,
Connie Krahn and Luanne Sivertsen (Richard), and grandchildren, Aaron (Monica), Tyson (Amy),
Kelsey (Chrissy), Cori (Candice), Shelby (Cole), Kyle (Anna), Cody, as well as 14 great-grandchildren.
Robert served in the Navy, and after being discharged, he attended BCBI in North Vancouver,
graduating in 1954. He served as a pastor in the PAOC in many towns in B.C., Giscome, Salmo,
Armstrong, Lake Cowichan, Trail, Quesnel, and Maple Ridge. After his retirement, he also did fill-in
ministry at Boundary Road, Vancouver, Fernie, Chetwynd, Tumbler Ridge, Quesnel, Vernon, Mission.
He loved his family, and he loved to garden, sing, play his musical instruments, bake, hike, and
enjoyed many canoe trips with family and friends.
He will be forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 28th , 3:00 pm, at River Valley Church in Mission B.C.,
with Robert’s nephew David Delgatty officiating.
