Tribute
On February 1, 2017 Steve Oudhof passed peacefully into the presence of Jesus surrounded by his loving family. Gustav (Steve) Oudhof started his journey here on May 19, 1932 in Amsterdam, Holland. He was number 7 of 8 kids. He entered the Dutch army when he was 20 and served 2 years. After leaving the army he worked for his dad in the family business. On February 18, 1959 he married the love of his life, Alice Woudenberg who he whisked away to Canada July 18, 1959 where he remained until his passing. He is survived by his wife Alice, daughter Margaret (Neal) Diamond, son Jim Oudhof, grandkids Danielle (Steve Fast), Chris (Mallory) Diamond, and Joshua Diamond, along with 4 great grandchildren. His celebration of life was held Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Heritage Alliance Church in Abbotsford with his family and friends. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the team Abbotsford Hospice who made his transition so peaceful and comfortable. Those wishing to make donations can do so to Abbotsford Hospice.
